A comprehensive home inspection helps minimize normal home-buying stress by educating clients on all areas of the home, while identifying any immediate major defects or maintenance isses.. Recent renovations and added components in the home are also noted during the inspection, ensuring installations meet current building code requirements. This systematic approach gives clients an indication of the condition of the home in relation to required construction practices and methods. If you buy a home that has been renovated without a building permit to basically assume responsibility for any work that may be required by your local building department.

We will be looking at the roofing, the exterior of the home, the structure, the electrical system, the heating/air-conditioning systems as well as the interior parts of every room of the home. We’ll be turning lights on and off, running faucets, opening and closing windows and doors, flushing toilets, filling bathtubs, operating showers and running jet tubs.

We think it is important for you to be at the inspection to go through the whole house with us since first hand knowledge is superior to reading a report. Questions can also be answered and systems explained as we go along. Think of it as a seminar on how to operate your home. It’s good to know about the systems of a home, regular maintenance can save you money in the future and it is also good to know the location of switches and shut-offs for emergency purposes.

Call for any Pre-Inspection, Home Inspection or WETT Certified Inspection.
